2025 marked a milestone year for Grace Overseas! We celebrated our 40th birthday and with it four decades of service, growth, and commitment to our team, clients and communities.
Throughout the year, we’ve celebrated achievements, supported local organisations, unveiled a refreshed brand and new website to match, and represented Grace Overseas across major industry events.
Here’s a look back at everything that made 2025 a standout year!
Milestones and Celebrations
The 40th anniversary celebrations started in February with a fantastic company-wide trip to Dublin – what a wonderful way to kick off a year of reflection and gratitude!
The celebrations continued up until our official anniversary, 13th February, where we paused to celebrate four decades since our founding in 1985.
February also saw 7 years since we opened our Crawley premises!
Community Support and Local Partnerships
Supporting local causes and building strong community ties has always been at the heart of Grace Overseas.
In February, Autism Support Crawley’s annual golf day raised an incredible £10,000, and we were proud to sponsor the event. Later in the year, we continued our support for the charity by donating a prize bundle including a golf bag, golf umbrella, and golf balls and tees.
March brought more local sport involvement, with Mandy representing Grace Overseas at Eccles Rugby Club’s sponsors day, and Ramsbottom Cricket Club stepping into the season in the brand-new polo shirts we were thrilled to provide.
August saw us helping Manor Royal BID supply goodie bags to Citizens Advice West Sussex, ensuring attendees had access to useful resources.
Accreditation and Professional Standards
May was a big month for demonstrating the high standards we set for ourselves. Grace Overseas passed its 2025 audit, securing ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 re-certification, and our Crawley office maintained its ISO 9001 status. These milestones reflect our commitment to quality, environmental care, and the health and safety of our people.
Industry Events and Exhibitions
We spent 2025 connecting, learning, and sharing knowledge at a range of industry events:
- In April, we showcased our expertise at Making and Distributing Pharmaceuticals, engaging with established companies and start-ups alike.
- Later in May, we exhibited at Chem UK, continuing to strengthen our presence in the chemical supply chain.
- June saw us at the Manor Royal BID Know Your Neighbour event, connecting with local businesses, before heading to Munich for Transport Logistic and Air Cargo Europe to gain fresh international insights into logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain trends.
- November brought SCS Formulate, where we connected with cosmetic brands about how Grace Overseas supports them with freight, fulfilment, and co-packing solutions.
Awards and Recognition
Recognition came in many forms this year:
- In September, Grace Overseas was named Best Global Freight Forwarding Solutions Company 2025 at the SME News Business Elite Awards.
- Commercial Manager, Brian Taylor was shortlisted for the Community Contributor category at the GMCC Excellence Awards, highlighting his dedication to local initiatives.
- In November, Managing Director, Sarah Taylor took to the stage at the Chemical Business Association’s annual awards ‘The Chemmies’ to present the Lifetime Achievement Award (which Sarah won last year), with Grace Overseas sponsoring the category – a proud moment for our team!
Brand Refresh and Looking Ahead
To mark our 40th year, we unveiled a refreshed brand and new website in October, reflecting both our evolution and our commitment to delivering a modern, service-led experience.
Reaching this milestone reminded us how far we’ve come, the values that have guided us, and how much excitement there is in the journey ahead. As a family-run business, loyalty, teamwork, and genuine care remain at the centre of everything we do.
