Thursday 28th November saw one of the biggest nights of the chemical supply chain calendar, the Chemical Business Association’s annual ‘Chemmies’ Awards. And what a night to remember for team Grace!
We’re proud to announce our three award wins at the CBA Awards 2024, a testament to our team’s dedication to excellence, innovation, and community impact.
Taking place at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, the Chemmie Awards are a night to celebrate the achievements of fellow industry experts across 12 different awards categories. Grace Overseas was privileged to have been shortlisted for an astounding five awards, in addition to proudly sponsoring the evening’s drinks reception.
So, without further ado, our award wins are:
Made a Difference Award: Brian Taylor
Our Commercial Manager, Brian Taylor won the Made a Difference Award for his outstanding contributions both within Grace Overseas and the wider community. Brian was recognised for his leadership and dedication as a coach for the Ramsbottom Cricket Club Junior Academy, having transformed the lives of young players and fostering a love for sport.
Lifetime Achievement Award: Sarah Taylor
Our Managing Director, Sarah Taylor, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award; testament to her three decades of visionary leadership for our business and transforming Grace Overseas into a global industry leader.
A trailblazer in a male-dominated field, Sarah also serves on the Chemical Business Association Council, and beyond her professional achievements serves as Chair of the Ramsbottom Cricket Club Junior Academy demonstrating her dedication both in business and our community. Logistics Services Member of the Year Award
And last but most certainly not least, we are proud to be named the Chemical Business Association’s Logistics Service Member of the Year! A reflection of the hard work and expertise of our fantastic team, who consistently deliver excellence for our clients, this award is for everyone who has made Grace Overseas the success it is today.
