At Grace Overseas, we’re keen to champion local community projects and causes close to our hearts, such as our longstanding support for Ramsbottom Cricket Academy and our annual donations to the Greenaway Foundation, among others.

So, for the second year running, we were delighted to sponsor Autism Support Crawley’s Charity Golf Day at Ifield Golf Club.

As a voluntary carer-led charity, Autism Support Crawley rely on donations to support unpaid carers of people with autism, with or without a diagnosis, across Sussex, Brighton and Hove, Surrey, Kent, and Hampshire borders. The charity hosts a variety of fundraising activities, as well as offering practical help like coffee mornings, online and in-person meet-ups, family events and training courses for carers.

With good luck video messages from the likes of cricketing and darts legends David Gower and Wayne ‘Hawaii 501’ Mardle respectively, the event garnered support from a host of local businesses, including Grace Overseas.

Team Grace was thrilled to sponsor charity patron and Master of Ceremonies for the day, Austin Hughes, who not only provided golfing commentary but also presented prizes.

As Director of Grace Overseas’ Crawley office, and with close connections to the charity having played the role of Santa Claus for their Christmas fundraising activities, Paul Morfett joined the fundraising action, making winning bids for both the T20 cricket and a trip to Lingfield races.

We’d like to extend a big thank you to Paul for leading the sponsorship, and to all those who continue to support this brilliant organisation. Head here to learn more about the charity and their vital work.
