Grace Overseas is celebrating 35 years in business.  The family-run business was established in 1985 by Peter and Veronica Cooney and still remains a family run business with their daughter Sarah now at the helm.

celebrating 35 years in the freight industry

Over that time the industry has changed dramatically and at Grace Overseas we’ve worked hard to stay ahead of changes and developments whilst consistently delivering high service levels something which has earnt us a reputation as a respected and reliable freight forwarding company.

A milestone Birthday is always a good time to reflect on where we’ve come from and the successes along the way.

Grace Overseas’ successes

– In 1992, Grace Overseas became one of the first freight forwarding companies to receive the prestigious BS5750 certification for ‘quality systems’.

– Over the years we have maintained our Alcumus Iosqar accreditation, Investors in People and Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certification and are proud to now be CAA Accredited too.

We’re rightly proud of our accreditations but we’re also equally proud of our commitment to protect the environment and the work we have done to support various charities such as Children’s Genetic and Metabolic Diseases, Alzheimer’s Society, MacMillan Cancer Support and Manchester’s Ronald McDonald House.

2020 marks an important year for the business, not only are we celebrating our 35th Birthday but we have also recently moved to our new head office and invested in a brand-new warehouse at Trafford Park in Manchester. These developments come just three years after the opening of our office in West Sussex which we opened to support our growing customer based across the UK.

With our new fulfilment centre up and running this is an exciting time and we’re looking forward to supporting our customers for the next 35 years! Watch this space for more exciting news to come….
