The team at Grace’s Crawley office have been celebrating this month, following the announcement that it had successfully gained its ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.

What is the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation?

The ISO 90001:2015 accreditation is the international standard that provides specific requirements for a quality management system (QMS), which ultimately demonstrates a business’ ability to continually identify areas for improvement, thereby ensuring that customer satisfaction is at the forefront of all operational processes.

In order to achieve the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation the team at Grace Overseas was required to demonstrate the following:

> The consistent provision of products and services that meet customer, statutory and regulatory requirements

> Continually looks to enhance customer satisfaction through the improvement of processes and assurance that the business complies with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements

Having already achieved this accreditation within the Northern office, the Grace Overseas team in Crawley were well versed in their ability to demonstrate the above requirements as this has been an integral part of operations throughout Grace’s three decades in business.

ISO Accreditation

The ISO accreditation provides customers, both current and prospective, with the guarantee that Grace Overseas operates in a customer focused, consistent and compliant manner at all times, by continually monitoring and identifying areas of improvement, and having a system in place for actioning these improvements.

The benefits of this will include:

> Enabling the Grace team to provide consistent freight services that will meet requirements, both from a customer and regulatory perspective

> Opening opportunities for the team to improve customer satisfaction

> Provide the ability to demonstrate how Grace conforms to the specified quality management system requirements
